Stone Soup Productions

From 30 second PSAs to 60 minute documentaries and just about everything in-between, Stone Soup Productions can tailor the process to your needs.

I can help you decide what kind of video you need (or even if you really need a video at all). I'll work with you to determine what you want your video to say and then the best way to get that message across.

Services include script writing, shooting, editing, and production. I can also help you determine who might be interested in airing your video if you're looking to distribute it on TV.

Below are some samples of different types of videos. Feel free to contact me for the compete video or more samples.

The first video below is a 2 1/2 minute video about the Minnesota Reading Corps program.  Shot in a single day -- we wanted to explain some of the basics of how the Reading Corps program works but -- as important -- wanted to show the impact the program has on children and schools.
The 5 minute story about Tracy and Janel Beckman was designed to highlight the Wilder Foundation's Caregiver Coach program.  While it was important to briefly explain how the coaching program worked, Wilder used the video at a fundraising event to underline how its programs impact real people (and why you should give).
An 11 minute video for the Melrose Institute -- the video was designed for family members who have a loved one about to enter treatment for an eating disorder.  It's longer than the typical video you'll see on the web -- and it's strictly testimonials from people who have a family member who is either in or has gone through treatment.  We felt it important that the audience hear directly from people who have been where they are.
This is the opening 2 minutes of a 30 minute Emmy award winning documentary that aired on public television stations around the country.  The Next Mission is about veterans coming home with PTSD and traumatic brain injuries -- and the nation that is not quite equipped to handle the "tidal wave" that is coming.
